As a dancer, I've always enjoyed performing for an audience, and as a choreographer, I love sharing my imagination with the community. But as my career has matured I've learned that those components are only a fraction of the effort that makes a show successful, or better yet, a company successful. Other operations like marketing, development, grant writing, human resources, and boards of directors play a huge role in bringing the art of dance to a greater audience. As Imagery's first Artistic Fellow I'm excited to learn more about how these components contribute to the big picture. My curiosity is overflowing, and I can't wait to dive right in!
